#6. Spending everyday since handing the last assignment in before Christmas, doing absolutely nothing

I'm beginning to worry about my other assignments, which I really should have done before coming home...
I have way too many books to read, and then an essay to write :(

Being at home doesn't help because we have people over all the time. It's really noisy so I can't do any work without being distracted.

And now I'm fat because I ate so much over the last few days!!!

#5. That feeling of relief after handing in an assignment lasting only 5 minutes because you have more due after Christmas

I knew I had two assignments due in January, and my plan was to do them before I went home so I could relax and be with my family.

But no, I had to stay up all night doing the other assignments that were due this term.

I'm still at uni doing the work and everyone's gone home

Plus, I've got stupid amounts of reading to do for next terms modules

Merry Christmas...

#4. Going to the library to do work, but bumping into people and then doing nothing

I'm trying to be a hard-working student!!! I go to the library to do my work because I get distracted in my flat...

I think everyone else has the same idea: I keep meeting my friends there and end up doing no work because we have a catch-up for "five minutes".

#3 Having about 100 people in your class, and only one copy of a criticism for it in the library

For literature essays, it's kind of important to use critique from various authors. Especially when you're a clodpoll and need all the help you can get...

The book that has been heavily recommended for our essay is never on the shelf, and I can't even put it on hold :(

So, I'll just sit in the library and wait for it to be returned, I mean it's not like I have 2 other assignments due.

#2. Not understanding anything and then waiting for the lecture only to find out it's been cancelled

Already paying more than 3 grand every year to learn this and we only have 2 hours per week, per module.

And now the lecture's been cancelled, because the lecturer is ill

Valid excuse but

I GUESS I'LL JUST FAIL THEN!

#1. Knowing you have work due, that you can't retake, but not doing it anyway

I have 2 essays and 3 assignments due.
3 of them are due in two weeks. Honestly, I really should be thinking and writing about If on a Winter's Night a Traveller.

What am I doing instead?

Checking facebook, JUST IN CASE something has happened, and I'm trying to convince myself that this is valuable use of my time...
Checking YouTube because someone may have uploaded a new video
Checking HotMail, GMail and Twitter AGAIN

What's worse is that you can't 're-do' an essay, and this one is worth 60%... the other two assignments are 50%

These nine books are all for ONE essay, I haven't opened ONE... and these are just criticisms:

And I need to take some more 'further reading' books out from the Library

Plus, I planned to go shopping today, and for a coffee with a friend... and to the gym

Why is the youth suffocated by books? ¬_¬

Should I work...or socialise...?

Mum: "It's about balance and at least you're in Uni!"

I know, I know... but does it even matter in the end?
